PREFACE
Stewed pork with fried rice, fried noodles, hamburgers... in limiting time and food choices, busy working group can only take high fat, low fiber and high sodium fast food as lunch. Most fast food are high in protein, low fibre, no nutritionally balanced. Much oil is poured in cooking, thus adding much fat and calorie in the dishes. High consumption in high fat, high protein diet will increase the risk of diabetes and heart desease. Low fiber diet will cause constipation and may lead to colon cancer. Blood pressure will be elevated wth high sodium intake. As a result, working group should be aware of oil and sodium control in their daily intake. Use herbs and natural spices for seasoning, increase fiber intake, these will help reduce the negative impact of frequent dine-out.
